01.What's wrong when the LCD panel didn't show any word after the IP Phone is powered on ?
(1) Make sure that you are using the correct power adapter acompany with the product.
(2) Check if the power adapter is connected correctly.
(3) Check if the led around the WAN port is flashing when powered on, if so, please call you distributor for further processing.
02. How to configure the IP Phone ?
The IP Phone is very easy to configure through the keypad on the phone set, please refer to
the user manual for the correct steps to configure it. And remember that the password to go
into the configure submenu is 135.
03. If the handset doesn't play dial tone when off-hooked, what's the problem ?
(1) Make sure that the power adapter and handset connecter is correctly connected.
(2) If the IP Phone is configured as DHCP enabled and failed to get an IP address ( LCD display “DHCP Fail” ), then the handset and speaker will not play any sound before DHCP successful.
(3) Otherwise, please call you distributor for further processing.
04. How to make sure that the IP Phone is connected to the network correctly ?
(1) Check if the led at the backend of the IP Phone is on when the IP Phone is connected to the switch/hub.
(2) Use the Ping function of the IP Phone to ping 168.95.1.1 to make sure that the IP settings of the IP Phone is correct and is connected to the Internet.
05.How to adjust the IP Phone's ring volume ?
When the IP Phone is in idle state, the left/right key is used to adjust the ring volume, please
press〝← 〞key to increase volume, and press〝→ 〞key to decrease volume.
06. How to increase the volume during conversation ?
Just press “←” key to increase the volume directly.
07. What is the difference between the PC port and WAN port at the backend of the IP Phone ?
No difference, you can use PC port or WAN port to connect to the network. But
only the WAN
port can have the optional Power over Ethernet function.
08.Could the IP Phone work without registering to the gatekeeper ?
No, the IP Phone could not work without registering to the gatekeeper. Only
after registered,
could the IP Phone call to the PSTN and mobile numbers.
09.Could the account of one IP Phone be used by another IP Phone ?
Yes, the account and password of one IP Phone could be used by another IP Phone, but
these two IP Phones could not work at the same time. (PS. the account and password could not work in another vendor's IP Phone product)
10. Could this IP Phone be used in another country ?
Sure, this IP Phone could be used any where in the world only if the Internet
connection is
available.
11. How to upgrade the software of the IP Phone ?
We don't suggest any user to upgrade the software by himself. If you really
have one reason
to do so, please contact your distributor.
